The successful candidate will work alongside the existing estimating and project management team to grow the current client base, increase sales, and further diversify our business. Qualifications
Post secondary education is an asset
Preference given to candidates who have completed a certificate/diploma in estimation or construction project management




Preference given to those who hold a certificate/diploma in construction estimation
Prior experience with On Screen Take Off or other digital take off software is a definite asset
Exposure to reading and deciphering architectural blue prints and specifications
An understanding of the importance budgeting and budget management have on the success of construction projects
Excellent knowledge in Excel, Outlook and Word and ability to operate a workstation proficiently
Fluent in written and verbal English and an ability to communicate effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude and cooperative outlook
Ability to work well with various participants of the construction process (internal and external)
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to handle tight deadlines
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing timelines
A high degree of professionalism
A quick learner who is able to exercise practical judgement and apply common sense to problem solve
