The Ideal Candidate

- An experienced Vena professional with at least 5 years of hands-on platform experience, including a strong track record of leading solution design on complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes, with the ability to translate ambiguous or competing business requirements into a coherent target architecture within Vena.
- Advanced to expert proficiency in MS Excel, including experience with Excel-based modelling and its implications for platform design.
- Able to own solution design decisions end to end, defend them to senior stakeholders, and drive consensus across finance, IT, and executive audiences.
- Client-focused, with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills at a senior level.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities spanning business process, data architecture, and system integration.
- Experienced leading multiple concurrent implementation workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- A proven track record of designing solutions behind successful Vena go-lives and high client satisfaction.

- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Owning solution architecture across the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through build oversight, testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Defining the target Vena architecture and configuration approach for each engagement, ensuring designs are scalable, maintainable,



and aligned to client-specific financial planning and reporting requirements.
- Acting as the senior technical point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, setting the standard for delivery quality and client experience.
- Providing architectural guidance and design oversight on ongoing client accounts, and identifying opportunities to extend or optimise existing implementations.
- Mentoring consultants on solution design principles and reviewing their configuration work for architectural fit.
- Overseeing multiple concurrent Vena implementations at the design level, ensuring architectural consistency and successful go-lives each month.

Skills &

Experience Required

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 7+ years of experience implementing Vena in a consulting or client-facing environment, with demonstrated ownership of solution design.
- Robust understanding of FP&A; processes, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting, and how these translate into platform architecture.
- Advanced to expert knowledge of MS Excel, including complex formulae, pivot tables, and data modelling.
- Deep experience with Vena template design, workflow configuration, and data integration architecture.
- Strong system integration background and the ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues.
- Confident, senior-level communication style with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience architecting solutions for enterprise clients in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with other CPM or EPM platforms is an advantage (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Prophix).
