Key Responsibilities - Act as the Charge Nurse responsible for the coordination of resident care on the unit - Provide clinical leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs, and other care staff - Assess residents and respond to changes in health status - Administer medications and treatments as prescribedEnsure proper documentation and adherence to LTC policies and procedures - Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members - Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices - Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with LTC regulations What We Look For - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) - Experience working in Long-Term Care or geriatric care - Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Reliability and professionalism - Ability to work independently and lead a team - Commitment to resident-centered care
