Responsibilities:
Transport and deliver scrap metal to Halifax and Truro.
Transport of gravel to local job sites.
Load and secure loads on a step deck.
Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday.
Maintain open communication with Managers and/or central dispatch for delivery schedules.
Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites and facilities.
Maintain flexibility in the daily routine to respond to Management's responses to customer demands.
Ensure proper paperwork and logs are maintained accurately and submitted weekly.
Promote professionalism and have an excellent customer service attitude.

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Drivers license
End dump experience (preferred)
Step deck experience (preferred)
Updated drivers abstract

Wage:
Wage base is $24.00 per hour and is negotiable depending upon experience.
