YOUTH RISE is a structured youth development program focused on career readiness, mentorship, and personal development. Participants take part in scheduled training and mentorship sessions in a supportive workplace and are paid hourly during program hours. This is a fixed term, Program based prospect with participation requirements.

Responsibilities
Attend scheduled program sessions and activities
Participate actively in training, workshops, and mentorship sessions
Complete assigned learning activities and tasks during program hours
Engage respectfully with mentors, facilitators, and other participants
Follow program guidelines, schedule, and attendance requirements
Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and commitment throughout the program

Qualifications
Available to participate Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM for the full 9-week program
Willing to attend in-person sessions in Oakville,

Seeking individuals at an early stage of their career interested in skill development, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or individual with refugee protection status
Motivated youth facing employment barriers or seeking career direction
Reliable and able to commit fully to program requirements
This program is designed to support Black youth and young adults, individuals who self-identify as Black are strongly encouraged to apply.

(No prior work experience required) Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $17.61-$17.80 per hour
