We are seeking a Forklift Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the facility and yard. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow, supporting production, and ensuring accurate inventory handling.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous forklift operating experience required
Valid forklift certification
Ability to lift heavy materials as required
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math and inventory skills
Robust communication skills
Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
Move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility
Stage materials for production and shipping
Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required checklists
Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
Assist with inventory control, including scanning, labeling, and counting materials
Ensure proper stacking, storage, and rotation of products
Maintain clean and organized warehouse and yard areas
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
Support production teams as needed
Complete all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
