This position involves locating and marking underground facilities, preventing potential strikes during construction. You will work across rural project sites, utilizing your skills for a pay range of $30 to $40 per hour, correlating with your experience and certifications. Key Responsibilities:
Utilize electromagnetic equipment to locate buried utilities
Confirm depths and locations ahead of construction work
Read and interpret various site plans and utility maps
Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Operate vehicles to access work sites efficiently Requirements:
ALP locator certification and relevant field experience
Ground Disturbance Level II, H2S Alive, and First Aid certifications
Valid Class 5 licence with no driving infractions
Experience with mapping software and utility drawings
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Contribute to maintaining safety standards in telecommunications by applying your locating expertise.
