As we enter our busiest season, we’re looking to bring on a dedicated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team and help ensure our clients receive the best care possible.
Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and technicians. You’ll greet clients, understand their vehicle concerns, explain repair and maintenance options, and ensure a seamless, high-quality service experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and professionally in-person and over the phone
Listen to vehicle concerns and accurately document customer information
Provide repair and maintenance recommendations based on vehicle history and technician inspections
Prepare and present cost estimates, obtain customer approval for services
Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair timelines and updates
Follow up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process
Maintain clean and organized service drive and waiting area
Adhere to company and industry safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive service writing or customer service (preferred)
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair terminology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Skilled appearance and demeanor
Comfortable using point-of-sale and shop management software
Valid driver’s license
Employment Details:
Schedule: Full-time including some Saturdays
