We have a full-time position open on our team for someone who is passionate about creating beautiful pastries & desserts and looking to build a career in hospitality. Responsibilities and Job Description:
Prepare and finish a wide range of French desserts at 5am for opening at 8am
Make all of the iconic Saving Thyme tarts, choux, cakes, entremet, macarons, etc
Ensure quality, presentation and consistency within all products
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Understand, operate, and maintain baking equipment
Great attention to detail and creativity

Skills, Qualities and Experience:
Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledge of food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.




Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity

Experience as a pastry chef in a skilled kitchen environment is awesome, but we also love to teach new and inexperienced people our craft. A outstanding attitude and a willingness to learn is the most significant quality you can bring!

You must be available to work on weekends (trust us, having Mondays off is great!). A normal day will start in the morning and finish early in the afternoon and will be spent in a lovely, French inspired atmosphere that always smells amazing! We are proud to offer our full time team members a fully funded, comprehensive health and dental benefits program.

The entire staff (excluding owners and we don't hire managers) share equally in the tip pool which consistently adds $5-$9 per hour worked to each staff member's daily pay.
