Duties
Safely navigate routes to deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers’ locations.
Handle food with care, ensuring it arrives hot and intact while maintaining quality standards.
Assist in loading and unloading pizzas and other menu items, often involving moving heavy boxes or equipment.
Communicate clearly with customers to confirm orders and address any questions or concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and ensure they are well-organized for effective operations.
Support warehouse tasks when needed, including moving inventory using forklifts or other equipment.
Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures during deliveries to ensure everyone’s safety.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with warehouse environments and the use of forklifts is a plus.
Solid communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks associated with moving supplies or inventory.
Experience working in customer service roles helps in providing a friendly delivery experience.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations is beneficial.
