Job Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pick ferrous and non-ferrous metals of conveyor belt
· Very demanding rapid-pace outdoor environment
· Working outdoors year round
· Learning to determine metal: ferrous and non-ferrous
· Communicating with the Plant supervisor
· Communicating and interacting with the coworkers
· Cleaning plant area
· Other duties as assigned
· Full time position: Monday to Friday
Physical Demands and/or Work Workplace
· This is an entry level position, no equipment skills needed
· Standing, walking for at least 7 hours outdoors
· Frequent holding and grasping with the hands
· Occasional lifting to 40 lbs.
· Climbing up and down stairs and ladders
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7.30am-5.00pm
Outdoor work,
exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.
