Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Serve dishes promptly while maintaining quality and temperature standards during service
Follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requests or menu changes as needed
Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations




Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment, specifically with Indian cuisine preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
Previous kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively with team members
