Job Summary

We are seeking a Permanent Forklift Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Mississauga, ON, supporting busy cross-dock and LTL transportation operations. This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys quick-paced warehouse and logistics environments where accuracy, safety, teamwork, and reliable service are essential.

The successful candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with drivers, warehouse supervisors, operations, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklift equipment, including counterbalance and/or reach forklifts, to load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
Perform cross-dock duties, including receiving, sorting, staging, transferring,



and organizing freight for LTL shipments.
Load outbound trailers according to delivery routes, freight requirements, proper weight distribution, and secure handling procedures.
Verify freight labels, shipment details, piece counts, and report any shortages, damage, or discrepancies to supervisors.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse areas while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with drivers, warehouse supervisors, operations, and customer service teams to support productive freight movement.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
Job type: Direct hire, permanent opportunity.
Location: Mississauga, ON.
Shift options: Day shift from 6:00am to 3:00pm, or afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 12:00pm.
Benefits after 90 days include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
2 weeks' vacation after 90 days.
Dress code: Casual work environment, jeans allowed, safety shoes required.
