Noble Northern is a growing Manitoba-based manufacturing company specializing in electric vehicles, off-road vehicles, off-grid utility systems, specialty equipment and custom manufacturing projects.
We build equipment and solutions for unique applications, including projects operating in remote locations and challenging environments.
We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator who enjoys variety, problem solving and building custom equipment from the ground up. This is a hands on role where every project is different.
Position Responsibilities
MIG and TIG welding and custom metal fabrication
Fabricate frames, chassis, brackets, enclosures and structural components
Build and modify custom vehicles and specialty equipment
Fabricate components for electric vehicles and off grid systems
Work from drawings, measurements and project specifications
Cut, fit, drill, weld and assemble components
Work with steel, stainless steel and aluminum
Modify, repair and improve existing equipment
Solve unique fabrication and mechanical challenges
Travel to remote locations for installations, repairs and field work
Work in shop, outdoor and remote environments
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
Qualifications and Experience
Experienced welder and fabricator
Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
Ability to read drawings and accurately measure and fabricate
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
Comfortable working on custom, prototype and one off projects
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations
Experience with vehicles, heavy equipment, trailers, off road equipment or custom fabrication is an asset
About the Position This is not a repetitive production welding job. You will work on a wide range of projects, from custom electric vehicles and specialty equipment to off grid systems and remote field installations. You will have the prospect to be involved in projects from fabrication and assembly through to completion and field installation.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
