This role involves driving established routes to pick up donations from customers and charity bins. You're joining a team dedicated to supporting Diabetes Canada by diverting hundreds of thousands of items from landfills through our collection service. Work up to 29 hours per week while promoting the mission and values of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive routes to collect donations from designated bins • Conduct 'pre' and 'post' trip inspections of the vehicle • Complete daily Hours-of-Service Logs and paperwork • Provide positive engagement with donors during pickups • Report discrepancies and ensure vehicle safety compliance
Requirements: • Valid Full Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract • Minimum 5 years of driving experience • Ability to handle loads of 10-50 lbs • Valuable communication skills with the public • Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
