Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Water Plant Operator to join our agile team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment of industrial wastewater to remove pollutants, making it safe for discharge. Your expertise will help uphold environmental standards and support community health. Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and control water treatment systems and equipment to meet quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of pumps, filters, valves, and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Manage the secure handling and transportation of materials requiring heavy lifting or use of heavy equipment.
Record operational data accurately in logs and reports for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.
Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations,



including during emergency situations or equipment malfunctions.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues by diagnosing problems and coordinating repairs with maintenance teams.

Skills
Solid mechanical knowledge related to water treatment systems and heavy equipment operation.
Experience working in oil & gas environments or similar industrial settings is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of routine maintenance or operational tasks.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and environmental regulations.
Good communication skills for documenting procedures and collaborating with team members.
