Civil Foreman for Water and Sewer

We’re looking for someone with Water and Sewer experience to join our Team as a Foreman Competitive compensation (including RRSP matching) is commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant.

Qualifications

Applicants must

· Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role;

· Have a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the field;

· Possess excellent knowledge of industry products, practices, rates, and standards;

· Read and understand technical drawings and specifications;

· Think critically and problem-solve outside of the box;

· Demonstrate knowledge of managing several crews at multiple sites;

· Demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines;

· Work under pressure and achieve maximum efficiency;

· Take a proactive outlook as it relates to Health and Safety;

· Address and resolve conflicts and disagreements;

· Effectively communicate, both written and verbally;





· Be flexible and function effectively with others in the Construction Team

Responsibilities The successful applicant will:

· Manage crews on site;

· Complete a detailed review of drawings and specifications;

· Maintain site, files, supplies, equipment, and services;

· Coordinate the work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project;

· Maintain qualified conduct and a positive working relationship at all times with owners, consultants, trades, suppliers and the public;

· Receive, track, and inspect all field purchases and materials, keeping daily records of labour, equipment, concrete, aggregates, rentals, subcontracts.
