Responsibilities
Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other toolroom equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and functional requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing tools and dies.
Measure and inspect machined parts using metric and imperial measuring instruments.
Disassemble and assemble tools and components according to design specifications.
Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education is preferred.
Additional education or certification in machining is considered an asset.
Ability to provide a personal toolbox with essential tools is preferred.
Successful completion of a background check is required.
