Star Tires Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Tire Technician with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in the tire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality tire services on passenger cars and light trucks while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger cars and light trucks
Diagnose, reset, and repair Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
Perform specialty tire services, including studding, retread, and run-flat tire work
Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a Tire Technician
Strong knowledge of tire equipment, passenger and light truck tires, and wheels
Proficient in using tire and wheel service equipment safely and effectively
Ability to diagnose and repair TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) (if applicable)
Physically capable of lifting and handling tires/wheels up to 50 lbs
Solid attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area
Valid driver’s license (preferred or required)
