The Neil Douglas Guitar Shop is seeking a passionate and reliable vocal teacher to join our team on a part-time basis! This is a fantastic chance for a student or someone looking to pick up a few extra hours each week.
About the Position
Pay: $38/hour
Type: Private contractor position
Schedule: 1 weekday evening. option to add more days (exact day flexible)
Location: Neil Douglas Guitar Shop
Starting: October 2026
As this is a new position, the successful candidate will start with a few students and have the opportunity to build up their student base over time. We’re looking for someone who loves teaching, has a solid foundation in vocal technique, and is excited to inspire students. A second instrument is an asset.
Requirements
Previous teaching experience an asset but not required
Strong vocal skills and the ability to work with students of varying skill levels
Positive, skilled, and patient attitude
