Do you have a talent for photography and an interest in supporting the growth of everyday cycling in Canada? National cycling advocacy organization Vélo Canada Bikes is seeking two volunteer event photographers to support an event taking place in downtown Ottawa from 4:30 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026.
Vélo Canada Bikes is a small but mighty national nonprofit organization supported by a volunteer board of directors and part-time Executive Director that delivers a number of impactful programs and campaigns that are working to make Canada more bicycle-friendly.
The Volunteer Event Photographers will be tasked with capturing photos at an Ottawa event with an indoor and outdoor component and uploading the digital files to an online storage system.
Interested applicants are asked to please contact Samuel at and provide a link to previous photography and/or videography projects. We are especially looking for photographers with some experience taking pictures of people at events looking for a current experience capturing a political event.
Pay: $0.01 per hour
