Candidates will engage in practice-based learning, contribute to undergraduate orthoptics programs, and have opportunities in teaching and research. Robust partnerships with community optometrists will enrich the role, fostering a comprehensive service for our patients. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver orthoptic services for paediatric and adult patients
- Collaborate with Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial teams
- Conduct visual screening for 4,500 children annually
- Support research and audit activities
- Provide training for hospital staff and pre-registration optometrists Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Orthoptics required
- Registration with the Health Professions Council
- Experience in autonomous practice
