Teacher – Math & English (Elementary & Secondary)

Location: Must be within driving distance of 109 old Kingston rd , Ajax

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to deliver academic enrichment programs in Math and English for students grade JK - high school. Ideal candidates are passionate about helping children succeed and comfortable teaching across elementary, intermediate and secondary levels.

Responsibilities
Teach Math and English (reading & writing strategies) in small groups (1:5 ratio).
Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and answer keys—no prep required.
Track student progress and share feedback with parents and center administrators.
Create a positive, engaging learning setting that encourages participation.
Assess student understanding through activities, assignments, and observations.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and center staff.
Maintain strong classroom organization and time‑management.

Requirements




Classroom or tutoring experience teaching elementary or secondary students.
Ability to teach both Math and English.
Strong communication skills; patient, encouraging, and student‑focused.
Experience working with children in educational settings.
Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
Bilingual English/French is an asset.
OCT certification (including interim/temporary) is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
