The Case Worker provides direct services to children, youth, and families through assessment, planning, intervention, and support. The position works to ensure the safety and well-being of children while supporting families in achieving positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management
Complete assessments and develop case plans.
Provide ongoing support and monitoring.
Coordinate services and referrals.
Conduct home visits and client meetings.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation.
Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
Advocacy & Support
Advocate for children and families.
Connect clients with community resources.
Support family reunification and permanency planning.
Ensure services are culturally appropriate.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Social Work or a related field.
Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
Solid assessment and communication skills.
Knowledge of child welfare legislation and practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence.
Child Abuse Registry, Adult Abuse Registry, and Criminal Record Checks required.
