, 40 hours per week Position: Human Resource & Employee Relations Admin Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource & Employee Relations Admin to join our team. This is a full-time position, with a 40-hour work week, at our luxurious resort in Jamaica. As the Human Resource & Employee Relations Admin, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining a positive working environment for our employees. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development. Key Responsibilities: Strong understanding of Labour Relations Codes , Employee Relations & Staff Welfare Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and HR-related matters Prepare documentation for disciplinary meetings, grievance hearings, investigations, and other employee relations matters Support employee engagement initiatives and promote positive workplace relationships Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters. Accurately input new hire data into our ABHRIL HRIS platform Prepare HR letters and documentation, including employment confirmations, warnings, performance-related correspondence, and other employee communications.
Accurately record minutes of disciplinary hearings, grievance meetings, employee meetings, investigations, and other employee relations proceedings. Ensure 100% compliance with document retention policies Support HR projects and other administrative duties as required Strong attention to detail for compliance auditing Engaging, warm, and friendly personality, with the ability to build positive relationships and make employees feel supported. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office - Associate's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Admin or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry - Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems - Experience with performance management and employee relations - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment We offer a competitive salary and perks package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
