Become a vital part of the laboratory team at Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert as a Laboratory Assistant I. Focus on phlebotomy and specimen management for patient care. In this part time role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality laboratory services, including phlebotomy for diverse patient populations and specimen analysis.

Execute phlebotomy on adults, children, and infants
Perform urinalysis with attention to detail
Process and manage laboratory specimens
Assist with reception and client queries
Address troubleshooting needs for specimen collection Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program
Demonstrated recent phlebotomy experience is necessary
Preferred familiarity with EPIC Beaker and data entry tools
Must be available for wide-ranging shifts, including nights and weekends
