Take a leadership role in resident care as a Program Supervisor. Provide support to the Director of Resident Care in a long-term care environment. As the Program Supervisor for Resident Care, you will be integral in ensuring high-quality care for residents.
Responsibilities include coordinating health services, managing emergency responses, and overseeing staff education. Solid interpersonal skills and a focus on cooperative care are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor compliance with long-term care standards
Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives
Support staff training and development programs
Ensure effective communication with families and residents
Represent the department in inter-disciplinary committees Requirements:
Minimum of two years of progressive experience in long-term care
Degree in Nursing, registered with the College of Nurses
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Familiarity with relevant healthcare legislation
