We currently have an chance for a Mill Operator at our City, Province location .

This position is responsible to operate all milling equipment and systems in the production of oat based ingredients.

Responsibilities: Operate all milling equipment, including grain cleaning, dehulling, kilning, flaking and oat flour manufacturing systems Steam heat treatment of raw and finished products Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on milling equipment Test finished products and work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the mill and grounds Accurately complete documentation for all processes Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices Perform other duties as required Qualifications:



Grade 12 or equivalent.

Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Computer knowledge an asset Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs Solid oral and written communication skills Solid problem solving and trouble shooting skills Able to work in a processing environment and adverse conditions (heights, steam processing and hot environments,) Able to work independently as well as in a team workplace Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible perks plan and training and career development opportunities.
