Become an Emergency Physician at Squamish General Hospital, part of Vancouver Coastal Health. This full-time role encompasses various shifts and promotes advancement in a team-oriented medical space. You will play a vital role at the Squamish Emergency Department, addressing around 20,000 patient visits annually.

The position requires not only acute care provision but also covers inpatient units and long-term care services. A focus on continuous improvement and teamwork is essential in meeting the healthcare demands of a growing rural community. Key Responsibilities:
Attend to emergencies in a rapid-paced, 13-bed facility
Work effectively alongside physicians and healthcare teams
Handle a mixed schedule of night, weekend, and day shifts




Provide urgent care support for hospital inpatients
Engage in ongoing career development and training Requirements:
Must have full licensure with the CPSBC and CCFP
Experience or training in Emergency Medicine necessary
ACLS certification is mandatory; ATLS preferred
Local residency preferred for urgent calls
Five or more years’ experience in rural settings favored Deliver exceptional emergency medical care while developing professionally at Vancouver Coastal Health in Squamish.
