About the role
The Data Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining robust data infrastructure and dashboarding solutions for OMD's highest profile clients. We work closely with analytics and strategy teams to ensure clean, reliable, useable data flows and compelling visualizations that drive business insights.
What will you do
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will support the execution of our dashboarding roadmap and contribute to ongoing data operations. With guidance from Data Engineering senior stakeholders and MarSci teams, you will be responsible for:
Marketing Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) Dashboard & Data Model Rebuild
Data Integration & Data Preparation
Data Quality & Documentation
Marketing Analytics Enablement
Technical Skills & Experience
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Background: You have 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles. You have a strong foundation in data fundamentals and are eager to grow your skills. You are comfortable working in technical environments and have a track record of learning new tools quickly.
Technical Skills: You have hands-on experience with the skills outlined above. Proficiency in Excel is expected. You have familiarity with SQL, and basic understanding of data modelling concepts is a plus. You are comfortable working with APIs and databases.
Communication & Problem-Solving: You are a clear communicator,
both written and verbal. While technical, you can also explain data concepts to non-technical colleagues. You are a detail-oriented problem solver who approaches challenges methodically, but also creatively if the opportunity arises. You take pride in the quality and accuracy of your work.
Mindset: You are curious and passionate about learning. You work collaboratively with others and are eager to contribute to team success. You are proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement. You understand the importance of data integrity and best practices.

Expected Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
