- A)Perform daily tasks associated with the safe and productive operation of the arena and surrounding grounds.
- B)Move nets to side of arena surface (may require lifting) before during and after all regular scheduled ice rentals.
- C)Return nets to the crease including pegs.
- D)Regular janitorial duties of the arena include, but not limited to, sweeping and washing floors, washroom and changing room cleaning and disinfecting, power washing, garbage pick-up and general cleaning duties as necessary.
- E)Assisting the Ice Facility Operator to maintain and monitor ice plant by daily inspections and alerting the Arena Manager of any problems.
- F)Snow removal, when necessary, from sports complex sidewalks and emergency exits.
- G)Assist the Ice Facility Operator with maintaining and performing minor repairs to sports facilities mechanical equipment and refer all major repairs to Arena Manager for alternate contractors to be contacted.
- H)Monitor the facility during rental functions and events to ensure public safety and safe operations.
- I)Provision of emergency first aid services including documentation of all services provided.
- J)Patrol the facility regularly to ensure rules and regulations are being followed.
- K)Safeguard, supplies and equipment.
- L)Organize equipment set up and take down.
- M)Pro Shop retail sales, replenish stock, assist with inventory.
- N)Advise the Arena Manager immediately of all equipment damage, malfunction or unsafe conditions.
