SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – REPLACEMENTThis full‑time replacement position is available as of July 1, 2026 at Riverside School Board offices located at 7525 Chemin de Chambly, in Saint‑Hubert.Join our team!We are a team of 10 Speech‑Language Pathologists who collaborate closely, engage in continuous learning, and provide evidence‑based support and treatment within the public school system. We routinely review literature, conduct case discussions, and brainstorm solutions for challenging situations. The role also involves implementing treatment plans and monitoring progress.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with fellow Speech‑Language Pathologists and the multidisciplinary team.Identify the needs of students experiencing communication challenges.Analyze and interpret data to create treatment plans adapted to each student’s abilities, personal and environmental needs.Prepare and implement individualized speech therapy intervention plans.Participate in planning and supervision of activities designed to prevent or address communication problems.Work with the multidisciplinary team to review and discuss the student’s IEP,



including treatment objectives and strategies.Coordinate interventions and assess achievement of objectives.Facilitate learning and social integration for classes or groups with common difficulties.Advise teachers on communication differences and recommend supportive instructional materials.Develop and adapt existing learning materials.Participate in discussions with parents, teachers, and school teams on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.Support families and resource teams with advice and tools for communication needs.Plan and conduct training, information sessions, and awareness activities related to communication differences.Establish and maintain collaboration with partner organizations involved in intervention efforts.Refer students or parents to appropriate resources.Advise management staff, prepare evaluation reports, and provide recommendations for decision‑making.Maintain professional files in accordance with board standards.Document progress notes, evaluations, and follow‑up reports.QualificationsMember in valuable standing with the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec.Preferred bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialty, notably psychology.Annual Basic Salary$57,492 to $105,469 per year (35‑hour work week), based on qualifications and experience.Equal Employment OpportunityRiverside School Board has implemented an Equal Access Employment Program and encourages applications from women, members of visible and ethnic minorities, Indigenous people, and people with disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
