SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER

Our client, a global financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to build and implement the technical controls that support an enterprise AI Agent Security program. This is a hands on engineering role focused on implementation, integration, and detection engineering, working under the direction of the Lead AI Security Engineer. AI security experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

- Implement segmentation and policy enforcement controls across endpoint, data center, cloud, and containerized environments, following the approved architecture
- Configure and deploy Cisco Hypershield and Cisco AI Defense controls (or comparable approved platforms) as part of the segmentation and enforcement design
- Build integrations between security tooling and SIEM, incident management, identity, and telemetry pipelines
- Develop AI specific detection content, SOC use cases, triage guidance, and escalation criteria covering anomalous agent behavior, unauthorized model or tool access, credential abuse,



lateral movement, and prompt manipulation attempts
- Execute testing, validation, and rollback procedures for each enforcement change
- Produce configuration and operating documentation, and contribute to runbooks and administrator guides
- Support operational onboarding of new capabilities into SOC workflows
- Partner with the Lead AI Security Engineer on architecture execution and provide input on design decisions

Qualifications
- 5+ years in security engineering, with hands on experience in segmentation, detection engineering, and SIEM or SOC integration
- Required experience securing AI agents or AI workloads, including runtime telemetry analysis
- Experience configuring or operating Cisco Hypershield, Cisco AI Defense, or similar enterprise segmentation and AI security platforms
- Experience with cloud and container security controls
- Robust documentation and testing discipline
