Your Day-to-Day
- Lead period-end and year-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries to support an accurate and timely close.
- Consolidate multi-entity trial balances and prepare consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations,and supporting notes in Microsoft Excel.
- Partner with teams across the business to support recurringdepartmental and fixed assetreportingrequirements,and ensure accurate coding of expenses and journal entries.
- Support financial statement audits and other audits by preparingdraft financial statements,schedules, responding to requests, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to implement and enhancefinancial systems such as IFS.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, creating efficiencies, reducing costs, and helping the business achieve its goals.
What You'll Bring
- CPA designation and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience, including ownership of period-end close activities.
- Experience preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements,intercompany reconciliations and eliminations,and supporting notes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience building reports with PowerQuery and PowerPivot is a solid asset.Experience with IFS is considered an asset but is not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset,strong problem-solving abilities,and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
Location: Richmond, BC (in office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays working from home) Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus
