Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen setting, supporting the Head Chef in daily operations and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Kitchen is open from 4 AM -2 PM for our team's production. We are in a shared facility producing with our meal subscription partner, CookUnity.

Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
Participate in batch cooking and batch portioning to optimize efficiency during service hours.
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of food items while adhering to recipes and portion sizes.




Uphold health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
Proven experience in food service, cooking, or culinary roles, with a focus on food preparation and batch cooking.
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in portioning and presentation.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
