Duties
- Restock shelves efficiently by receiving and organizing merchandise accurately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles, stockrooms, and checkout counters
- Assist customers with locating products and answer their questions with enthusiasm
- Operate equipment such as forklifts (if certified) to move heavy or bulky items safely
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product visibility
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold store cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory levels through proper stock rotation and reporting low-stock items
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or stocking roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification preferred) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to perform cleaning, maintenance, cashiering, and merchandising duties as needed
