The position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and adherence to all applicable workplace regulations and company policies. The Store Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Benjamin Moore retail store in North Bay, Ontario. This role includes providing excellent customer service, mixing and dispensing paint, stain, and lacquer and related products, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, managing inventory, and assisting management as needed.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and technical sales to promote merchandise effectively
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling,



transactions, and receipts
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts with precision
- Manage phone etiquette by answering inquiries professionally and directing calls appropriately
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate record-keeping
- Uphold store cleanliness, safety standards, and organization throughout your shift

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills combined with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory counts
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, upselling strategies, and retail operations such as cashiering and POS systems
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products enhances your fit for this role

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
