As a key player reporting to the Director of Governance and Controls, you will implement compliance and governance initiatives. This role is crucial for maintaining an effective internal control structure, ensuring alignment with CIBC's risk management policies. You will collaborate with various Finance groups to enhance the overall control framework and address deficiencies promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test internal controls, documenting effectiveness and compliance
• Guide design of internal control structures to mitigate risks
• Support documentation of processes and risk mitigation strategies




• Elevate compliance concerns and ensure timely resolutions
• Manage assertion processes for Finance and communication with stakeholders
