Senior Python Developer – Async Python / FastAPI-Commerce Next Gen Catalog

Location: Canada | Hybrid

Experience: 8+ Years

Contract

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of robust Python development experience

Python 3.12+ and Typed Python

Strong hands-on experience with Asynchronous Python

Expertise in asyncio and aiohttp

Robust PostgreSQL experience

Experience with aiopg

Experience designing and delivering mid-to-large scale applications

Good to Have

FastAPI & UV

Kubernetes (K8s)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

SCRUM / Agile

Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Key Responsibilities

Own estimation, scope, design, implementation, and delivery of complex projects.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Lead development and ensure timely project delivery.

Perform code reviews and drive engineering best practices.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Teams.

Develop recent features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Contribute to technical innovation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
