We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in valuable working order
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed
Utilize POS systems effectively, including Micros POS, to process orders efficiently
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service
Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation
