About the Role
The Director of Technology &Systems; will lead Huron Tractor's technology strategy, business systems,digital transformation, process improvement initiatives, data and reporting, AIadoption, and enterprise-wide technology projects.
This position is about much more thanIT.
You'll help shape how work gets doneacross the organization by improving systems, simplifying processes, enhancingcustomer experience, supporting our stores, and ensuring technology investmentscreate measurable business value.
Working closely with leaders acrossSales,
Product Support, Store Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and ourdealership locations, you'll help position Huron Tractor for long-term growthwhile maintaining the practical, customer-focused culture that has made ussuccessful.
What You'll Do
As Director of Technology &Systems;, you will:
- Develop and execute Huron Tractor's enterprisetechnology and systems strategy
- Lead digital transformation and continuousprocess improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to simplify work,improve customer experience, and eliminate inefficiencies
- Champion responsible AI adoption and workflowautomation across the organization
- Oversee business systems includingIntelliDealer, Deere platforms, Microsoft technologies, Power BI, CRM,FileBound, ExpertConnect, and other key operational systems
- Partner with business leaders to improvereporting, analytics, and decision-making
- Lead cross-functional technology and businessimprovement projects from concept through implementation
- Build strong relationships with departmentleaders, Store Managers, vendors, and technology partners
- Support change management by ensuring newsystems are practical, well communicated, and successfully adopted
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration,and continuous improvement across the organization.
What Success Looks Like
During your first year, you'll focuson:
- Developing a technology roadmap that supportsour long-term strategic objectives
- Identifying high-impact opportunities to improve business processes across departments
- Improving customer communication and inquirymanagement
- Supporting practical AI implementation andautomation initiatives
- Enhancing reporting and business intelligencecapabilities
- Building trust with Store Managers anddepartmental leaders through practical, value-added improvements
- Creating alignment between technologyinvestments and operational priorities.
What You Bring
We're looking for a leader who combinesbusiness acumen with technology expertise.
You have:
- Significant leadership experience intechnology, business systems, operations, process improvement, or digitaltransformation
- A proven ability to lead cross-functionalprojects and organizational change
- Strong understanding of enterprise businesssystems, reporting, analytics, and process design
- Exceptional communication skills with bothtechnical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building relationships acrossmultiple departments and locations
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, andproblem-solving skills
- The ability to balance innovation withpractical execution
Experience within agriculture,equipment dealerships, manufacturing, distribution, construction, automotive,or other multi-location service organizations would be considered a significantasset.
Experience with Microsoft 365, PowerBI, IntelliDealer, Deere systems, CRM platforms, AI technologies, workflowautomation, or similar enterprise solutions is necessary.
