Support MPP Chandra Pasma as a full time Constituency Assistant in Ottawa West-Nepean. Engage with constituents, handle casework, and enhance local outreach efforts.

This permanent role offers a unique chance to assist the Member with an array of responsibilities including event organization, communication management, and research tasks. You will address constituent inquiries, liaise with community members, and help to maintain a visible media presence. Your role is integral in promoting awareness of the MPP's initiatives in the riding, ensuring effective advocacy for local interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize events, hearings, and meetings for the MPP
• Respond to constituent questions and feedback promptly
• Maintain research material and information for the Member




• Monitor local media and craft relevant communication
• Coordinate social media strategy to boost engagement

Requirements:
• Knowledge of NDP and Canadian labor movement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer and social media proficiency
• Experience in community organizing is an asset
• Understanding of Equity and Diversity principles
