Role Responsibilities
Operate sandblasting and surface preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect parts and surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Consistently meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
Mask or protect areas that should not be blasted.
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting of blasting equipment.
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production specifications.
Comply with all safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
3+ years experience applying spray coating in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
Must be able to use and operate blast cabinets and blast room equipment.
Must have robust attention to detail.
Ability to lift up and handle material weighing up to 50lbs.
Ability to prioritize workload and have excellent time management skills.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to read and interpret drawings is an asset.
