The Schulich School of Engineering is looking for a technician for an 8-month term. You will support experiential learning components for first-year common core courses and maintain laboratories, collaborating closely with faculty members. This role is vital for ensuring the effectiveness and safety of technical equipment and labs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate laboratory sessions for first-year engineering courses • Update lab materials and worksheets as needed • Troubleshoot and design experiential learning components • Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards compliance • Support planning for undergraduate laboratory experiments
Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in Engineering required • Proven experience in a technical support role • First Aid certification essential • Strong knowledge of various operating systems and software • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
