We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Shingler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing shingles on residential and commercial buildings. Duties
Safely handle and operate hand tools such as hammers, nail guns, and utility knives to install roofing shingles efficiently.
Prepare roofing surfaces by removing old materials, cleaning decks, and applying necessary caulking or sealants for waterproofing.
Install shingles in proper alignment, ensuring secure fastening and proper ventilation.
Perform heavy lifting of materials like bundles of shingles, plywood, and other roofing components while maintaining safety protocols.
Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify quality standards and identify any repairs needed.
Experience
Prior experience with construction or roofing projects is highly preferred; familiarity with roofing techniques is a plus.

Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
