We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs under supervision or as trained
Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship, engagement, and emotional support
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning client living areas to maintain a safe and hygienic setting
Document care provided accurately in client records and communicate any changes or concerns to healthcare teams
Assist with transfers and heavy lifting using proper techniques to ensure safety for both clients and caregivers
Skills
Previous experience working with individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments
Strong patient care skills with knowledge of dementia, hospice, or senior care practices
Ability to handle medication administration accurately following protocols
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
Excellent caregiving skills combined with physical stamina for heavy lifting and mobility assistance
Compassionate communication skills for engaging clients empathetically and effectively
Basic cleaning skills to maintain a clean living space for clients
