We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Steel Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive shop drawings and fabrication details for structural steel components used in various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all steel elements are accurately designed, coordinated, and ready for manufacturing and installation.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for structural steel components based on architectural and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
- Review project documents, including structural plans, specifications, and client requirements, to produce precise detailing work.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials meet project standards and specifications.
- Incorporate changes or revisions into drawings promptly to reflect design updates or field modifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations throughout the detailing process.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation for easy access and reference.
Skills
- Proficiency in structural steel detailing software such as Tekla Structures, Advanced Steel, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices related to steel structures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, error-free drawings under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clarify technical details.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) codes and specifications.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings clearly and efficiently.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
