air and land shipments- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the logistics teams in the companys Canadian and international offices to support operations- Train new team members- Enhance department efficiency and compliance with international trade regulations through effective supervision and development and deployment of team policies and processes- Oversee import and export processes/operations using GoFreight system for end to end shipment tracking- Document or review and approve all documentation related to import/export processes and operations- Manage key client accounts- Develop tailored logistics solutions for clients- Collaborate with sales teams to support business development, quoting and pricing strategies- Assess, develop and streamline operational workflows to improve visibility, accuracy and delivery times and make recommendations to improve efficiency- Negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers and agents to optimize shipping costs and improve service quality- Analyze shipping routes and identify cost-saving opportunities- Enhance company service reliability- Manage and report to senior managers on team/department budget, overseeing profits and losses of the departmentTo Apply:Email: All applications must include a cover letter.
