Join Colonnade BridgePort as a Property Accountant managing financial operations for a diverse property portfolio across Canada. This role focuses on delivering accurate financial statements and managing cash flow. In this agile position, you will report to a Property Accounting Supervisor and collaborate closely with a team to ensure timely financial reporting.
Your main responsibilities include preparing institutional level financial statements, managing tenant charges, and calculating CAM & Tax recoveries. You'll engage with owners to interpret financial data and coordinate budgets for various properties. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Ensure compliance with accounting practices and owner requirements
Assist with annual operating budgets in coordination with the Core Team
Manage property cashflow and monitor receivables/payables
Prepare year-end working files for audits Requirements:
3 to 5 years of accounting experience, property experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office 365 and Yardi 7s software
Solid bilingual communication skills (English & French)
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
