wind and hydroelectric power generation.We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in office in our Vancouver head office.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting and a proven track record managing accounting functions across multiple entities—including those tied to rental property portfolios and commercial property management.ResponsibilitiesPerform the full cycle Income Producing Property (IPP) accounting of our residential and commercial propertiesPrepare annual property budgetsPrepares financial statements and internal management reportsAssists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projectsEnsures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processesCompiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditorsPrepares partnership and corporate tax returnsCompiles annual operating budgetsConducts variance analysisProvides administrative support to the management as requiredOther duties may be requiredRequirementsMinimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related positionCPA DesignationAttention to detail and accuracy in all areas of workExcellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesCompetent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, OutlookGood team player, self-motivated and willing to learnWhat we offerInternal Growth OpportunitiesPlease note, only qualified candidates will be contacted#J-18808-Ljbffr
